Save Time in PCR Plate Set-up

The Deerac™ Q is the first benchtop liquid handling system to incorporate both disposable tip transfer for DNA samples and non-contact PCR reagent dispensing for low volume assays. It enables automated low volume PCR assay assembly for SNP genotyping, RT-PCR and gene expression. Typical time to reformat four (4) 96-well (SBS Standard) plates into one (1) 384-well plate is under 8 minutes.


The Deerac Q liquid handling system enables walk-away automation of the preparation of low volume 384-well plates for PCR, RT-PCR and related genomics applications. The integrated Q liquid handling system quickly reformats 96-well plates into a 384-well format and then uses the Deerac magnetic feedback control (MFC) technology for high-speed, low-volume dispensing of enzymes and valuable reagents. The complete process requires less than 8 minutes to reformat four (4) 96-well plates into one (1) 384-well plate compete with DNA, buffers and enzymes.
